Black Damask Letterpress Invitation

Here is a wedding invitation I put together for my sister's upcoming wedding (with big thanks to Mujka Design Inc, http://shop.mujka.ca for the template). Instead of printing this on a flat cardstock, I opted to have the design Letterpressed with only black ink on an ivory cotton cardstock. I received the photopolymer plate this weekend and I'm so excited to get started. Here's a jpg of the invite!!

Black, Red, and White Damask Invitation

I desgined invitations for my parent's 30th wedding anniversary (which was later canceled) and my mom is so cool, she chose Damask for her theme. I was so excited because I LOVE damask design, especially in my favorite colors: red, black, and white. Those were her colors as well. Here's what we came up with!!

I designed the following:

Invitation
Dance Invitation
Envelope

Invitation

I opted for the UV spot color on the white leaves, the red T, the red vertical line, and the black swirls. I think that will add a very elegant touch.

Dance Invitation

For the dance invitations, I opted for the UV spot color on the dark black leaves, the white text on the red bottom, and the black strip.

Envelope

The envelope will be printed with a bleed on the left side, left top, and left bottom. It coordinates with the damask design and includes a return address in white lettering.
